Uppsala teknolog- och naturvetarkårs Pedagogiska pris 2017 tilldelas Jan Kudlicka
För att tilldelas Uppsala teknolog- och naturvetarkårs peadagogiska pris bör den nominerade visa stort intresse och goda kunskaper inom pedagogisk utveckling. Det kan i sin tur innebära innovativa utbildningsmetoder, engagemang och intresse för sina studenters lärande, struktur i kursupplägget och relevant kursinnehåll som förankras i arbetslivet.
“Jan Kudlicka är en helt otroligt engagerad och pedagogiskt begåvad lärare som behöver all vår uppskattning och tacksamhet” skriver en student i sin nominering. Prisade ord som dessa ges sällan utan motivering och därmed har Jan Kudlicka dragit till sig UTNs uppmärksamhet.
Jans enorma energi och engagemang har både inspirerat studenterna till att vilja lära sig, medverka i utbildningen och inse relevansen i de kurser de läst med Jan.
Han sätter upp olika typer av lärande anpassade för att nå ut till alla sina studenter och han ger sig inte förrän han har lyckats ge svar på deras frågor.
Genom att vara lyhörd och flexibel har han även lyckats anpassa sina kursnivån efter studenternas förkunskaper samt gett kursprojekten relevant förankring i verkligheten.
Jan har en enorm viljestyrka att göra sitt bästa och med ovanstående motiveringen tilldelas Jan Kudlicka Uppsala teknolog- och naturvetarkars pedagogiska pris 2017.

To receive UTN’s Pedagogical Award, the nominee should show a great interest in and good knowledge within educational development. This, in turn, can mean innovative educational methods, commitment and interest in students’ learning, structure of the courses and relevant course content related to the working life.
“Jan Kudlicka is an incredibly dedicated and educationally talented teacher who needs all our appreciation and gratitude,” writes a student in the nomination. Praising words like these are seldom given without justification and thus Jan Kudlicka has attracted the attention of UTN.
Jan’s immense energy and dedication have both inspired the students to want to learn, participate in the education and realize the relevance of the courses they took with Jan.
He uses different types of learning adapted to reach all his students, and he does not give up until he has been able to answer their questions.
By being responsive and flexible, he has also managed to adapt the level of his courses to the students’ prior knowledge and designed the course projects that are relevant to the real world.
Jan has tremendous willpower to do the best and with this motivation Jan Kudlicka receives UTN’s Pedagogical Award 2017.
